People’s Choice Prize in Kingston Prize

Je viens d'apprendre une bonne nouvelle!!! Ma peinture "La fille au fil" a gagné le prix du public à Drummondville dans le cadre de l'exposition du Kingston Prize.
 Just heard a good news!!!

Marina Dieul of Montreal QC wins the People’s Choice Prize in Kingston Prize portrait exhibition in Drummondville, QC.

The portrait entitled “La fille au fil” by Marina Dieul of Montreal QC was the most popular portrait in the third exhibition of the finalists in The Kingston Prize 2011 competition held in Drummondville, Quebec. It was awarded the $1000.00 People’s Choice prize at the close of the exhibition, on the basis of ballots submitted by visitors.

The portrait shows a young girl, painted in the style of high realism and trompe-l’oeil.

The Kingston Prize is a project of the Kingston Arts Council and is supported by the W. Garfield Weston Foundation.

Votre effet d´illusion est magnifique et le thème est brillamment mis en scène.
Vous appartenez à la lignée des grands peintres du trompe-l´oeil contemporain comme Gilou ou Laroche, Yvel et Cadiou (malheureusement tous trois défuns) et de plus vous apportez une touche de sensibilité féminine.
Vous êtes vraiment sensationelle!
